This beer grabbed me from the start. first off with its tap handle. My thought was Hmmmm...Vanilla, Java, porter? What ills can bode within? So I had the bartender grab me a sample. I was literally blown away with the smooth and yet complex flavor. it is definately the vanilla that grabs you first and then as you get deeper into the glass the flavor subtly changes to a chocolate java. A deep brown with not to much of a head but don't let the lack of head fool you. this is definately a beer that one must experience. I did in fact pick up a growler from D's 6pax and dogs in Pittsburgh,Pa. This is a good beer to finish off a meal. though i think drinking a case in an evening would be on the rough side. 6%APV, over all I love this beer cheers to Atwater Brewery for a awesome beer. - Unsubscribed , posted 04/04/07 |
