Touching on a myriad of subjects, this book falls into the newly created genre of literature called, New Weird. Taking elements from horror, sci-fi, and fantasy and blending until smooth...this book is an amalgamation of bizarre creatures, golems, wyrmen, vodyanoi, golems, a perpetual train, revolution, anarchy, this is one part of a larger area known as Bas Lag.
