got mixed reviews on Amazon.com
read the low rated reviews on amazon questioning this guy's credentials & sources, this one sounds really dubious to me and unlikely to be what it claims to be. - Alchemy , posted 04/06/09

I'll read it...but
I gave a neutral rating so I could ask a question(s):

Does it actually say anything about the ninja? Does Ross talk to modern ninjas like Hatsumi or Tanemura or Manaka...or even Hayes? What sort of research went into this book? - David M. , posted 04/06/09

Mastering the Four Gates to Freedom
Handbook to changing the way one thinks and acts in the world. Overcoming conditioned patterns and thinking. It is a revolution in releasing the bonds that chain you down, if you are only willing and fearless in jumping into an abyss where anything could be waiting for you on the other side. This is not a book for armchair theorists! This is a book of action, to bring spontaneity and an unfolding wisdom back into your life.
Following the sacred diagram of the 4 cardinal directions, the book explores how to overcome the specific limitations that have been conditioned within us from birth. Starting with overcoming fear and moving on to reclaiming personal power and learning how to share and not take power away from others...it continues from east, to south, to west.....addressing the root problems which hold people back from taking charge of their lives and living with full authenticity. It's an amazing journey in rediscovering the Self when we live in a society that has largely forgotten/forsaken the rites of passage which are so crucial to the development of every human being.
